A crazy thank you.

After 2016, we organize the ESB Summer Party for the fourth time in a row. The year before last, with rain clouds at Lake Starnberg, the employees and their families are told “thank you” today in the rustic farmhouse at Reitsberger Hof in Vaterstetten and rewarded for their successful work.

For Pete’s sake, are you serious? 2016 we were greeted with rain and today bad weather is outlook with dark clouds… Okay, challenge accepted and meticulously “planned” around the rain. Registration and ESB kicker tournament are moved without further ado in the cowshed #firsttimeexperience, and the beer garden bravely covered despite storm clouds. Thanks to the shelter, we were able to enjoy ourselves, chat and eat well.

And the little ones? No question, the ESB summer festival turns out to be a true children’s paradise! Creative workshop, ESB learning theater, make-up workshop, pony rides, tractor test drives and a straw castle to climb. More time, then, for the adults to enjoy the program, the photo box and good conversation. Speaking of program and enjoyment… The evening, the madness, Monika Gruber! She rants and grumbles in her sixth stage solo program “Madness” about everything that upsets her, makes her foolish and moves her. She gives a good telling off, she flirts and makes up, and she holds up the flag of common sense: in a high-speed monologue exclusively for all the employees. They clearly enjoyed it and were happy about the final autograph hour. Monika too. And we of course as well. And the bad weather didn’t matter.

After all, you can say thank you in any weather if the message and location are right. Bingo!
